Using two AAA 1.5V Alkaline batteries, the Door Sensor boasts a battery life of up to 2 years, making it easy to maintain. However, it is important to note that the sensor is intended for indoor use only and should not be installed on metal doors or windows.

With the Alexa app, users can create personalized routines triggered by the door or window's open/close status, enabling actions such as turning on a light, sending alerts to a smartphone, or even having Alexa make a voice alarm or tell a joke.
