The 800 Series Zwave Outlet extends the data transmission range, allowing you to add LR (Long Range) capability to your 800 Series Hub via SmartStart. In open areas, this Zwave Outlet can transmit signals up to 1300 feet.

With voice control and dimming functionality, the dimmable Zwave plug can be adjusted to different brightness levels through Google Assistant and Alexa. For example, you can say, "Alexa, turn the desk lamp to 30%."

Zwave plugs with S2 security feature a unique matching QR code (DSK) and utilize strong data encryption to ensure secure communication between devices. Additionally, there are mechanisms in place to intercept attackers and prevent message replay attacks.

Note that Zwave smart plugs require a compatible hub to function. The Zwave smart plug is compatible with a wide range of hubs, including SmartThings, Vera, Wink, Fibaro, Homeseer, 2GIG, and Hubitat. However, it is important to note that the Zwave smart plug is not compatible with the Amazon Echo Plus or Vivint Hub.

The compact design of the Zwave plug allows for the use of multiple smart plugs in the same outlet, with a maximum power rating of 300W.
