Aqara Motion Sensor P1 - 5-Year Battery, Configurable for Alert and Automation, Compatible with HomeKit, Alexa, IFTTT

The Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub is required for the Motion Sensor P1, and it is not compatible with other Zigbee hubs. A secured 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection is necessary for the Hub M2/M1S/E1/M1S Gen2 and Camera Hub G2H Pro/G2H, while the Camera Hub G3 requires a 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi network. Additionally, the Hub M2 supports a wired Ethernet RJ45 connection.

The Motion Sensor P1 is compatible with Aqara Home, HomeKit, Alexa, and IFTTT. However, please note that the light sensitivity function is not available in HomeKit and Alexa, and you may need to update the hub firmware for optimal use.

One of the standout features of the Motion Sensor P1 is its impressive 5-year battery life, which ensures reliable performance even in low temperatures or with lightning-fast detection timeouts. The sensor's dimensions are 1.46"D x 2.17"W x 2.76"H.

The detection timeout can be easily adjusted through the Aqara Home app, allowing you to configure the timeout from 1 to 200 seconds to save energy or capture every movement promptly.

The Motion Sensor P1 offers an extra-wide field of view: 170° for up to 4 meters and 150° for up to 7 meters. The versatile 360° stand enables effortless adjustment of the viewing angle, ensuring the sensor is only triggered when necessary. Additionally, you can choose from three sensitivity modes (high, medium, low) to configure the triggering distance.

The Motion Sensor P1 can be integrated with the Aqara Home Alert System or other supported systems, such as HomeKit, for continuous monitoring and local sound, light alarms, and cloud notifications upon motion detection. The sensor seamlessly integrates into smart home automations, enabling you to configure IF conditions and THEN actions. This allows you to automate various routine tasks, such as activating lights with the Aqara Smart Wall Switch or controlling the TV with the Aqara Smart Plug.
